Who we are

FlatClaim is operated by Oakwell Partners Inc., a British Columbia company. FlatClaim is not a customs brokerage or a law firm; FlatClaim prepares claims, and filings are transmitted by the client’s own licensed customs broker or self-filed by the client in CARM.

No advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice. Dollar figures shown are illustrative examples, not promises of recovery. Recoverable amounts depend entirely on your actual import entries and the applicable regulations.

Engagements

Services are provided only under a signed engagement agreement, which governs over anything on this site. Fee terms summarized on this site (flat fees of $2,495, $4,995, or $9,995 CAD by tier, the 5x-fee guarantee, the workmanship warranty, and the optional Surtax Watch annual re-audit at $1,995, $2,995, or $4,995 CAD per year) are confirmed in that agreement. The client keeps 100% of recovered amounts; no contingency applies.

Liability and governing law

This website is provided as is, for general information. Liability, warranty, and indemnity terms for our services are set out in the signed engagement agreement, which governs over anything on this site. These terms and any engagement are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
